Helping People Continuously Learn and Grow

Family Therapy Training Boston is a learning community committed to enhancing the well-being of individuals, families, and groups by providing state of the art training for helping professionals. Spawned by the closure of the Family Institute of Cambridge, an organization that educated people in New England and afar for 35 years, we aspire to meet its training goals. Our work is rooted in the values of social justice; it is comprehensive, immersive, practical, empowering, strength based, supportive, rejuvenating, and hopeful. We are committed to working with all people in ways that demonstrate respect and understanding for the myriad ways there are to live a good life, taking into consideration the forces in our larger cultural context that challenge us all.

Courses and Workshops FTTB provides live didactic and experiential training with outstanding teachers; we specialize in helping people to think broadly and systemically, integrating many useful ideas and practices. Our courses are designed to provide intensive learning in formats that attend to work-life balance.
